Successful Fund My Neighbourhood projects announced
On 25 November 2017, the Premier announced that more than 200 projects will receive a share of $20 million from the inaugural Fund My Neighbourhood program.
Over 33,000 South Australians cast more than 122,000 votes for nearly 1,700 projects across the state aimed at improving people’s neighbourhoods. Ideas across funding regions that attracted the highest number of votes secured funding. Sponsors of successful projects will now enter into a grant agreement with the State Government.
A total of 12 projects within the City of PAE have successfully secured grant funding under the FMN Program with an overall value of $ 1,270,501. The funded projects include 4 projects sponsored by the City of PAE;
· Northfield Dog Park Upgrade
· Greenacres Community Garden
· The Big Slouch Hat in Manningham
· An Accessible Beach Mat in Semaphore
We will soon engage the applicants and the FMN program manager - Department of Premier and Cabinet in finalising grant agreement. It is advised that the funded projects must be completed within 12 months from the date funding is received, or an agreed date specified in the grant agreement.
